You need Mechanics, a Shop, a place to get parts, customers.
Not much else other than the local laws. Business license, labor laws and such.
I used to work in auto repair…
Insurance is a big deal too… but I don’t know how South Africa works.
Basically you need to get a relationship with a distributor for parts. Cheap as possible to create profits.
Someone brings you their car, you need to be able to fix it.

Be sure your shop is well equipped to handle the work that you plan to perform. Have a computer to keep up with customer service, so they can be notified when their car needs to be serviced again. First and foremost, always threat your customers with dignity and respect, as if your life depended on them. It does. Do not try to put snow jobs on people. Most will see right through it and won’t be back.
Use repair orders on each vehicle, completely filled out. They could come in handy later if there are disputes over the service. Make sure they are signed by the customer.
Keep a clean shop. First impressions are lasting impressions. It shows that you take pride in your work and are a professional.
Hope this helps.
